breastfeeding through the winter

nobody told me that breastfeeding + cold season would = boogers on mom's boobs, but i guess it makes perfect sense really. are there special tissues for this? puffs plus plus? available in sizes B, C and D (cause no one nursing still has A)...
and it's not a simple passing from nose to breast. oh no, it is an intricate dance:
a tiny bit of mucus shyly peers out, you can see it ready like a waiting talent show contestant. then a gentle baby breath gives it a boost out the nostril and contact is made! you can practically see the electricity jumping because you have this beautiful strand connecting mother and baby.
that is until baby looks up at you with a gleam in her eye. then you just have boogers on your boob.

  1. Oh, just a single thread? Just wait until it's thick snot and then you have "slug trails" across your breast. Yeah, thanks kids, awesome! Just what a mom needs when her poor breast is hanging out in the cold!
