while we do make most of our own baby food, from sweet potatoes to garbanzos, we have also started making baby food completely on accident..
in a fine demonstration of opposition of digits, baby L picks up a morsel and with lightning speed deposits it in her mouth. is it a cheerio? graham cracker? a puff? alas, no.
i am of course referring to a favorite habit of 8 month olds everywhere: eating each crumb/lint/fuzz/dustbunny/onion skin they can get their hands on.
you may never notice how many tiny crumbs and fuzzes you make in a day until a baby points them out to you!
so i guess the best solution to the problem is extra vacuuming, sweeping or mopping.
However, nearly as effective is a rug with a wild print to camouflage the debris and disorient the visual field of said baby so that larger items (ahem, baby toys) will be the items in focus. tah-dah.
